The National Organic Coalition is hosting a Fall 2025 National Organic Convening in two parts from 1-4 pm ET on November 3 and November 17. This online forum provides a space for information-sharing and dialogue and is open to all organic community members.
Session I (November 3) will include:
a panel of organic grain farmers from the Plains region,
a federal organic policy update, and
an update on the work of the National Organic Standards Board.
Join Session I to hear from Plains-region grain farmers firsthand and get Steve Etka’s briefing on the shutdown’s ripple effects, USDA staffing cuts, and the stalled Farm Bill.
NOTE: This virtual convening will take the place of the organic meeting originally scheduled to take place in Omaha, Nebraska, in connection with the Fall National Organic Standards Board meeting. The Fall NOSB meeting has been cancelled due to the government shutdown. Learn more.
Session I: Monday, November 3
Time: 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm Eastern Time
Location: online zoom meeting.
